In 2015, Holiday Retirement decided to conduct a huge survey across America. They inspected seniors that were older than 100 years. After the end of the survey, there were a lot of tips how to prolong your life.
It all started in 2015, when Holiday Retirement conducted a massive across-America survey, inspecting seniors over 100 what the reason for their longevity was. It is safe to say that after the survey was detailed, there was an array of tips on how to live longer.
Some said that the family is the key factor for longevity; others claimed that you need to live your life to the fullest. However, the most surprising answer came from Jessie Gallan – hundred and nine years old lady.
She was born in 1906 and she was raised on a family farm in Kintore in Scotland. Moreover, she lived with her five siblings and her parents. Jessie’s life was simple and rural. She lived freely and she slept in a cottage.
She started going to school, but for a short period and then she found a job in a kitchen at a farm. Then, she worked as house maid in a city. The family for whom she worked were really wealthy. After that, she started working in the service industry.
Jessie finally installed in the House Crosby – a home which accommodates alone or ill seniors. Gillian, a worker in this home said that Jessie is a wonderful woman. She also added that Jessie’s best friend was Sarah and they were inseparables. She was really active and independent person. Jessie died in March 2015. She revealed her secret to long life before she dies. She said that her secret for a long life is to stay away from men. She also added that they are more trouble and they are not worth it.
He said that the secret to vitality was that she liked her porridge and she had had it all her life.
