An older couple was lying in bed

One night, an older couple lay in bed. The husband was on the brink of sleep, while the wife felt a surge of romance and a desire to converse.

She spoke softly, "Do you remember how you used to hold my hand when we were courting?"

He stirred wearily, reached out, held her hand briefly, and then attempted to drift back to sleep. A few moments passed, and she continued, "And you used to kiss me."

Somewhat annoyed, he leaned over, planted a quick peck on her cheek, and settled into his slumber. But just half a minute later, she added, "You used to bite my neck, too."

In a burst of frustration, he threw back the bedcovers and swung his legs out of bed. His wife looked puzzled and asked, "Where are you going?"

"To get my teeth!" he retorted.
